We are seeking active and in good standing California Licensed attorney. Experience in Workers Compensation is a must. Must have Workers Compensation experience. The position is for Workers Compensation Lawyer Specialist. The attorney will counsel with complex WC cases, in addition to follow-up activity with other attorneys as necessary.

Duties:Legal Specialist will be responsible for the following:
Assists attorneys on difficult cases.

Gathers necessary paperwork with a staff assistant on cases.

Assists in analyzing individual cases with management and creating action plans.

Locates appropriate counsels and direct communication in attempt to handles issues.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date records regarding ongoing collection cases, attorney listings, etc.

Conducts legal research when directed or necessary. Work with our outside attorneys. Educate law offices on medical-legal issues.

Perhaps monitors collection activity and assists in additional follow-up with on liens as directed

Conducts factual research regarding assigned cases and address miscellaneous issues

Conducts tactful interaction with attorneys, adjusters, judges and representatives to promote favorable results
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

Good standing California Licensed attorney

Working knowledge and experience with the Work Comp system

Ability to work with law groups and there support staff.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong oral and written communication skills required.
